Community groups

We value the important role that community groups and support services play in the health, wellbeing and connection of Mandurah's community.

The City offers a range of information, resources, funding support and opportunities to connect Mandurah's community groups and not-for-profit services. For further information or support, contact a Community Development Officer at [email protected]

Community safety

Mandurah is committed to providing a safe, welcoming environment for residents and visitors. Working closely with WA Police and Neighbourhood Watch WA, the City delivers programs and initiatives to enhance safety across our community.

  • The Safety Incentive Rebate Scheme helps residents improve home and property security — reopening 1 July 2026
  • Free safety resources including home security checklists and neighbourhood safety audits
  • CCTV network operating across the CBD and key public areas

Resident groups

Local residents groups are a great way in which people can meet neighbours and contribute to their community. Each group has its own unique identity, focus, and way of interacting with residents.

Sporting and recreation clubs

With over 100 clubs across Mandurah, there's a sport or recreation group for everyone. The City's Club Connect program provides dedicated support to help clubs be the best they can be — from funding and workshops to one-on-one assistance.

  • Find a club that suits your age, ability and interests
  • Club Connect Officers available to support committees with any issue
  • Funding available through the Club Connect Grant, KidSport and more
